Trial results

The benefits of Norponin® Cotyl supplementation have been documented in numerous trials.

In this trial conducted in the United States, 110 pregnant sows (PIC 1050) were divided into two homogeneous groups: a control group fed a standard diet (gestation and lactation diets) and the Norponin® Cotyl group fed these diets plus 1.5 kg per T of Norponin® Cotyl. The test periods were 24 days before farrowing and 21 days after farrowing until weaning of the piglets. The litters were weighed after cross breeding, 48h after farrowing and at weaning.

In this trial, Norponin® Cotyl supplementation (1.5kg/T) to pregnant and lactating sows significantly increased weaning weights by +8%.
